About Me

I am a 2nd year graduate student at Univresity of Minnesota, twin cities. My field of research is Flat-id based Internet architecture and distributed computing.

I have done my B.Tech. in Computer Science from   NITK-Surathkal. After completing my B.Tech., i worked with Citrix R&D Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore.

Presently i am pursuing my internship with Cross Commerce Media Pvt. Ltd in beautiful city of Newyork.

NEWS 

 

 May 09 I joined Cross Commerce Media Pvt. Ltd. as a software development Intern.

August 08  I joined MS in CS program at UMN.  I also got RA under Professor Jon Weissman.

July o7  joined Citrix Pvt. Ltd. as a software develop Engineer in Team Netscaler. 

July 06 Filed two disclosure as part of Extreme Blue internship at IBM Software labs Bangalore.



    Recent Work

     Most recently i have been involved in implementation of rich component synchronization framework for a web application in jQuery. The fun part is doing it alone and from scratch.


    In Spring-09 i have been involved in two parallel research stream. I worked with Professor Weissman on proxy based architecture for realizing the potential of volunteer computing to carry out massive task on thin client.


    Second work is under guidance of Professor Zhi-Li Zhang. I am expecting a paper in one of the top networking conference as result of this work. This work focuses on Internet design for next generation.

     

     I took exciting courses of developing rich Internet application in various framework like GWT, YUI and SL. I also about advanced Internet programming.

     

    In Fall-09 i have been involved in study of  Planet-Lab which is a distributed test bed. I studied the quality degradation of experiment due to resource sharing policy in PL. I worked on a framework to seamlessly ensure the quality of service for experiment by detecting the degradation and hence migrating the experiment on a resource rich machine.

     

    In Citrix, i worked on design of a command based configuration difference utility.  Apart from this, i worked on role based authentication and feature enhancement of NetScaler.

     

    Apart from professional work, I have been working on self-learning exercise of implementation of RSSReader in visual C#.
